For this post, I thought I’d share some photos from the recent Melbourne Teddy Bear Fair held at Berwick Leisure Centre May 6, 2012.
The show was wonderful. Artists came from all over Australia, from the northern tip of Queensland to Tasmania in the south, and Wayne Lim came all the way from Singapore, with his family for support. That topped my trip all the way from Perth on the West coast!
We had a great day, The show organiser is Melissa Kemp, owner of The Art of Teddy Bears (a shop in Sydney), and she holds the Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane Teddy Bear Fairs each year in Australia. She does a wonderful job, and we are lucky to have her as shows are limited here in Australia.
These photos show just some of the artists there. The pictures have been supplied by Wayne, who is much better with a camera than me, and had his family all over the show taking photos of Wayne with all the artists.Having his family there was a real buzz of the show.
